Operatio Sequiteur Esse – Devotion Follows Being
 
This is a simple formula for living; “being” implies “doing”, and doing implies “having”.  This is what Yoda meant, when he told Luke Skywalker; “do or do not, there is no try”.

Trying is the root of all our failure.  If we reverse the sequence to having all the stuff an artist should have, such as brushes, canvass and easels. Then we try to do all the things an artist does, will lead to failure.  Because try implies a very certain lack of being. 

You know by your very existence that you are artist!  The universe has created you that way, and for you there is no trying to understand that.  That is your genius!   My purpose is not to make you into anything, but to help take you out of the trance of un-being, and remind you of the genius you are. 

I call this a process of waking up your genius.  If you knew who you really were, you would never doubt yourselves. 

You operate in a different world than others, take comfort in that fact.  That you see the world beyond all of its suffering and troubles, and are witnesses to the beauty that is before us with each breath you breathe.  Seek always beauty first, for beauty is truth, and truth is beauty, and that is all you need to know, or ever need to know “Keats”.

Remember to fly above the flock of seagulls that scramble for crumbs and group hierarchy, but instead feel the wind under your wings.  For the truly successful people don’t measure their lives by having, but by being.  In that truth, you remain independent of the good opinions of others.
